Andrew I love these photos because it reminds me of my house. When I saw the first picture I realized you love art. The color of your room is dark blue which reminds me of the Ocean. I love the slideshow of your pets it is really cute. Also, the board games remind me of my childhood. I remember my Elementary school used to have these board games and I would play with my friends until my mom picked me up. I realized that every ethnicity come together and share the same games. When I compared my Home video with yours, I realized yours was mainly pictures of your house. My home video is slightly different because my video had a lot to do with the smell of my house. Your home video is very nice and the pictures were clear. The way you described home seem like it is a safe environment with a lot of love. I feel like home is a very important thing to you because you can be comfortable in your own surrounding and I think that’s why you chose the idea of capturing an image of your room. I love your video and I was wondering how does the board game remind you of home? Also, I was wondering what were the things on the ground and how does that remind you of home?
I really love the images that were used in this slideshow. The very first photo of the room reminds me of my room, and how to me that is my home, within my home. The photo of the room represents to me my own space and as a place where I can reflect and be alone with my own thoughts. I feel like the pillows on the bed make the room even more comfortable and welcoming in a way. This represents how home makes you feel comfortable and relaxed/at peace. I also like how there are photos on of dogs playing poker and a cat on the wall, and then with the next photo is of his dog.
I like how the photo of the dog is looking directly into the camera with welcoming eyes. It again gives me the impression that home is welcoming and animals can also be part of the family that incorporate home. The photo of the dog reminds me of my dog and I think about the love I get from my dog that makes home even more special to me.
The photo of the entrance into the house reminds me of the first step inside the house. I feel as if the photo is inviting us inside his home and inside his world. This reminds me of the entrance of my home and I again get that sense of feeling of being welcomed and being shared his sense of home.
The photo of the game boards remind me of the activities that you do within the house and the fun activities that you do to make "home" home. It reminded me of all the times I would stay up late with friends playing monopoly and scrabble. It gives me a sense that a lot of board games are played in the home and gives the impression that home is a place where you feel comfortable, safe, a place to have fun and play games with others and create memories.
