Christina The place Christina’s picture described is America. Her pictures had varieties of food where we can find almost anywhere. There were magnolia cookies, Starbucks coffee, and egg tarts. Christina’s home video is really different from mine because in my home video I actually showed stuff that is related to my ethnicity. Christina showed more of her interest in her home video. She put a picture of egg tart s which can mean she loves Chinese food or maybe she loves anything related to the Chinese culture. In Christina’s video, she described home as safe and peaceful and it is also a fun place. She showed that her home is somewhat Americanized with Monopoly and cards. The food put on the table shows how each culture have their way of coming together since we can easily find it at a nearby store. Also, these photos show how we all connect with technology and how technology can make us feel like an outcast. Almost everyone that is any race has an iPhone but not everyone can afford one. When we see those people who are holding their iPhone on the bus, we would feel left out. This has nothing to do with culture but this has a lot to do with class. This home video is unique and beautiful. I was wondering why did you decide to put a picture of a phone and how does this relate to your idea of home?
